The Ultimate Big Island Volcano Day

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is one of the most extraordinary places on earth, and this full-day adventure is the most complete way to experience it. You’ll stand above the dramatically enlarged Halema’uma’u Crater, watch volcanic steam rise from the earth at the Steam Vents, and walk through the ancient Nahuku Lava Tube tucked inside a living rainforest.

From the summit of an active volcano to two of the island’s most beautiful waterfalls, Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls, the day traces the full story of how Hawai’i Island was born and continues to grow. With national park admission, Akaka Falls State Park admission and a to-go lunch all taken care of, the only thing you need to bring is your curiosity.

Please note: The main Visitor Center is temporarily closed for renovations. Guests currently visit a temporary visitor center while work is completed.
